The Future is Here

The Technology Strategy Board has partnered with the Design Museum and Science Museum to look at the future of 3D printing and new technologies.

The public has been invited to submit to images that they think represent the future, with the best ones being showcased on the website within 24hrs of uploading.

In case you are wondering: The images and tweets on the canvas belong to the authors and therefore views are not endorsed or representative of the views of the Technology Strategy Board, Design Museum or Science Museum.

The collaboration also includes two exhibitions. The first, The Future Is Here: A New Industrial Revolution ran at the Design Museum from July 24 to Oct 29, explored how the boundaries between designer, manufacturer and consumer are becoming increasingly blurred.

The second is the recently launched 3D: Printing the Future exhibition at the Science Museum which is currently running until June 15, 2014.
